Former NCAA Division I Coach Patrick Nicholas Joins the SUNS!

We are proud to announce the newest addition to our senior coaching staff: Patrick Nicholas. He brings with him over thirty years of coaching and playing NCAA Division collegiate level. Coach Patrick has also held various positions and has extensive experience with: USA Women's National Teams, USAV High Performance Programs and USA Boys Youth National Teams

Here are just a few of his coaching career highlights:

• Coached in two NCAA Final Four's

• Coached in five NCAA Division I Tournament appearances

• Coached in thirteen post-season Division I Conference Tournaments

• Involved in the development and implementation of the USA Volleyball High Performance Program (1997-2004)

As a young player himself, Coach Pat was taken under our very own Coach Jim's wing and it was the beginning of a long career that he made for himself out of the love for the sport and for coaching. Wanting to give back what Coach Jim gave to him many years ago, Coach Pat is excited to share his passion and expertise to our young athletes. Coach Pat has actively begun his new position with FSVBC as he is currently conducting our FSVBC Summer Clinics for all 5th through 9th graders alongside Coach Jim this July and August.

We look forward to the Fall and new Indoor Club Seasons with this valuable addition to our coaching staff.
